Challenge
On the factory floor, making sure employees know the health-and-safety and BCP rules is essential. At this company, there was no way to confirm whether employees had read the rules after an amendment.
To communicate amendments, staff also had to prepare a document each time showing which articles had changed and how. The company needed a way to track awareness and convey changes accurately.
Adoption
The company adopted Kiteilog because publishing and read confirmation work in one system. Being able to export comparison tables for amendments was another reason.
Existing rule files were imported, reviewed and published. People outside the company view the rules through a share link.
Results and current use
The company can now see who has read each published rule. For amendments, it exports a comparison table that clearly shows the changes.
Rules can also be exported as PDF for posting or distribution on paper when needed.
The company plans to bring other rules and manuals into the same system to unify how they are communicated.
