Side work is welcome as long as it doesn't interfere with your main role.

Open information sharing

We share the company's situation and how projects are run among members as much as we reasonably can. We value an atmosphere where everyone shares the same context behind decisions.

1on1 / career conversations

Regular 1on1s let you discuss your career and ways of working on a separate track from performance reviews. Handled by members with a background in coaching and counseling.

Process

Selection Process

We proceed through 2 to 4 conversations in total. You're welcome to start with a casual chat. For contract-based engagements, a single conversation may be enough.

01Apply — Please apply via the contact form. We also welcome inquiries starting from a casual chat.
02Casual chat (optional, 60 min) — We talk openly about each other's situation and interests. Before or after applying is fine.
03First interview (30 min) — Aligning on your background and aspirations. Depending on the role, you may be asked to work on an exercise.
04Final interview (30 min) — Confirming conditions and start date, and reaching mutual agreement.
05Offer / Joining — We issue an offer letter, and you join by mutual agreement.

What we look at in interviews

Values fit: Whether the transparency, integrity, logical thinking, and long-term orientation SHANNON values align with how you think.
A closer look at your past work: We ask, in concrete terms, what work you did, what judgments you made, and what happened as a result.
How you learn and work: How you usually learn and how you structure your work. We look at your output and your consistency over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we also welcome participation on a contract or side-work basis. Please discuss the number of working days and the type of contract when you apply.

Since we are fully remote in principle, your location within Japan does not matter. However, due to constraints and risks under Japan's labor systems—such as workers' accident compensation insurance—applications are limited to those residing in Japan.

All interviews can be conducted online (Zoom / Google Meet). Only the final interview can be held in person if you prefer.
