Challenge
Business partners increasingly asked the company to explain its information management, and it had many rules to prepare: information security, personal data, individual numbers, confidential information and cloud use.
Writing these from scratch meant researching the relevant laws and guidelines, placing a heavy burden on the person in charge. With so many rules, how to manage them afterwards was another concern.
Adoption
The company adopted Kiteilog because rules can be drafted from templates and managed in the same system once written.
On its first day, it drafted nine rules from templates and reviewed them with the law check. Sign-in to the console uses a passkey for secure access.
Results and current use
A full set of draft rules was ready in a short time, and rules are published as their review is completed. They are exported to PDF and Word for distribution and submission.
The rules are managed as versions, so amendments can be handled in the same system.
The company plans to publish all its rules and use them to inform employees and explain its practices to business partners.
