This booking and shift management SaaS runs a separate domain for each industry: dental, auto and clinic.
A passkey only works on the domain it was registered for, so using the same mechanism across several domains required careful design. The challenge was to introduce passkeys while keeping each industry’s screens and terminology.
Adoption
The company chose SealGate because a domain can be set per app and passkeys added to several apps in the same way.
It set up a separate SealGate app per industry and registers passkeys on each domain.
Results and current use
Clinic and shop staff sign in with passkeys on the domain for their industry.
Because environments are separated by industry, usage and sign-in records can be reviewed per industry.
If an industry is added in the future, passkeys can be offered with the same setup.
