Moving to passwordless sign-in: password sign-in is ending

Thank you for using our services.

Guided by zero-trust principles, we are moving sign-in across our services to passwordless authentication. As part of this change, sign-in with an email address and password will end on the services below. Every new service we launch from now on will also be passwordless.

Why passwordless

Passwords are easily stolen through credential stuffing and phishing, and have long been the leading cause of account takeovers. Even multi-factor authentication (MFA) that adds an SMS code to a password can be defeated when users are lured to a fake site.

In response, Apple, Google, Microsoft and others are promoting passkeys, built on the FIDO2/WebAuthn international standards. Passkeys verify you with your device’s fingerprint, face or PIN. The key stays on your device and only works on the genuine site, which makes passkeys a leading form of phishing-resistant authentication.

As the provider of SealGate, a service that helps businesses adopt passkey authentication, we are moving our own services to passwordless sign-in ahead of the curve. You will be able to sign in more safely and more easily, without having to remember or manage a password.
