Know your site is down
before your customers do.

We monitor your website availability around the clock from multiple locations. When something goes wrong, we send notifications to email and Slack, and a monthly uptime report makes your operating status visible. Shannon handles everything from setup to ongoing operation.

Pain points

Do any of these sound familiar?

Not noticing that your site went down undermines trust in your operations.

You only found out your site was down when a customer told you.
You want monitoring in place, but you have no time to select, set up, and operate the tools.
An expired SSL certificate suddenly put a security warning on your site.
When asked "Is it running properly?", you cannot answer with an actual uptime figure.
You signed up for a monitoring tool, but no one looks at the notifications when they arrive.
Service

What the service covers

A website uptime monitoring service where Shannon handles setup and operation on your behalf.

01 Monitoring

Uptime monitoring from multiple locations

We monitor your website availability every 60 seconds, around the clock, from multiple locations worldwide. To avoid mistaking a single location's temporary glitch for an incident, we cross-check results across locations before deciding.

02 Notify

Instant notification on detection

The moment we detect downtime, we notify email and Slack. You also get a notification on recovery, so you can track an incident from start to resolution.

03 SSL

SSL certificate expiry monitoring

We automatically check your SSL certificate expiry and alert you before it lapses, preventing the "one day a not-secure warning suddenly appears" scenario.

04 Status

Dedicated status page

We provide a dedicated status page that can carry your own brand. It supports custom domains and lets you publish current status and past incident history to end users or internal teams.

05 Report

Monthly uptime report

We compile your monthly uptime into a report. It puts your operating status into numbers you can use directly for internal or customer reporting.

Process

How it works

  • 01Free consultation and sign-up — we ask for the URLs you want monitored and where notifications should go (email, Slack).
  • 02Monitoring setup — we configure multi-location uptime monitoring and SSL expiry monitoring, and set up the notification routes.
  • 03Notification test — we confirm that notifications actually arrive after a detection before going live.
  • 04Operation and monthly report — we deliver a monthly uptime report. Premium also covers first-line incident investigation and notification on your behalf.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

We run a monitoring platform across multiple locations. Because an incident is judged by cross-checking results from several locations, a temporary network glitch at just one location is unlikely to be misread as "down." Shannon subscribes to and operates the platform, so you do not need to sign up for or configure any tools yourself.
Monitoring and notifications run automatically around the clock, every day of the year. First-line incident investigation and notification on your behalf (Premium plan), however, is provided on business days. As a remote-first, business-day company, we do not take on after-hours or weekend on-call coverage.
Yes. The Premium plan provides a dedicated status page that supports custom domains and your own branding. You can publish current status and incident history to end users or internal teams.
Yes. Please contact us about multi-site discounts and multi-tenant contracts. We will tailor a proposal to your number of sites and operating setup.
The minimum contract period is 6 months and the setup fee is ¥10,000 per site. Monthly pricing is ¥5,000 per site for Standard and ¥10,000 per site for Premium.
