Know your site is down
before your customers do.

We watch your website’s availability 24/7 from multiple locations. When something goes wrong, we alert you by email and Slack, and a monthly uptime report keeps your operating status visible. SHANNON handles everything from setup to day-to-day operation.

Pain points

Do any of these sound familiar?

Not being able to tell when your site has gone down puts the trust in your operations at risk.

You only found out the site was down when a customer told you.
You want monitoring in place, but you can’t spare the time to choose, set up, and run a tool.
An expired SSL certificate suddenly turned your site into a security warning one day.
When asked “Is it running properly?”, you can’t answer with an actual uptime figure.
You’ve subscribed to a monitoring tool, but no one looks at the alerts when they arrive.
Reasons

We hand over the whole operation — not just a tool, but the ability to notice and act

The hard part of monitoring isn’t subscribing to a tool — it’s staying in a state where you reliably notice an outage and can account for your availability. SHANNON takes on everything from setup to operation, so alerts never sit ignored.

01

SHANNON handles setup and operation

We take on tool selection, configuration, and alert routing along with day-to-day operation, all in one. There’s no tool contract or setup work on your side, and it resolves both “we want monitoring but can’t get to it” and “we subscribed, but alerts go ignored.”

02

Multiple locations to suppress false positives

We monitor at 60-second intervals from multiple locations worldwide and judge an outage by cross-checking the results across them. A momentary network hiccup at one location is far less likely to be misread as “down,” which keeps alerts from becoming noise no one trusts.

03

Show your availability in numbers and on screen

We deliver a monthly uptime report, and a dedicated status page lets you publish current status and incident history. When asked “Is it running properly?”, you can answer directly with figures and a live screen.

04

SSL expiry never slips through

Beyond uptime, we automatically check your SSL certificate’s expiry date and raise an alert before it lapses. We catch oversights like “one day, out of nowhere, a not-secure warning appears” as part of the monitoring.

Scope

What we cover

A website-focused uptime monitoring service in which SHANNON handles setup and operation on your behalf.

01 Monitoring

Uptime monitoring from multiple locations

We monitor your website’s availability 24/7 at 60-second intervals from multiple locations worldwide. To avoid misreading a momentary hiccup at one location as an outage, we judge by cross-checking the results across locations.

02 Notify

Instant alerts on detection

When we detect that the site is down, we alert you by email and Slack immediately. A recovery notice follows as well, so you can track everything from the start to the end of the response.

03 SSL

SSL certificate expiry monitoring

We automatically check your SSL certificate’s expiry date and raise an alert before it lapses, preventing the “one day, out of nowhere, a not-secure warning appears” scenario.

04 Status

Dedicated status page

We provide a dedicated status page you can display under your own brand. It supports custom domains and lets you publish current status and past incident history to your end users or your internal teams.

05 Report

Monthly uptime report

We deliver a monthly uptime report. It makes your operating status visible in figures, ready to use as-is for internal or customer reporting.

Process

How it works

  • 01Free consultation & sign-up — we ask for the URLs you want monitored and where alerts should go (email, Slack).
  • 02Monitoring setup — we configure uptime monitoring from multiple locations and SSL expiry monitoring, and set up the alert routing.
  • 03Alert test — we confirm that alerts actually arrive on detection before starting operation.
  • 04Operation & monthly report — we deliver a monthly uptime report. Premium also handles first-line investigation and contact during an incident.

  • SHANNON handles setup and alert design
  • Dedicated status page and monthly reports

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

We run our monitoring platform across multiple locations. Because we judge an outage by cross-checking the results across those locations, a momentary network hiccup at just one location is unlikely to be misread as “down.” SHANNON contracts and operates the platform, so there’s no tool contract or configuration needed on your side.
Monitoring and alerting run automatically, 24/7. First-line incident investigation and contact (Premium plan), on the other hand, is on a business-day basis. As a remote-first, business-day operation, we do not take on after-hours or weekend on-call cover.
Yes. The Premium plan provides a dedicated status page that supports a custom domain and your own branding. You can publish current status and incident history to your end users or your internal teams.
Yes. Please ask us about multi-site discounts and multi-tenant contracts. We’ll tailor a proposal to your number of sites and operating setup.
The minimum contract period is 6 months. Setup and monthly fees are quoted individually based on the number of sites monitored and the plan, so please feel free to get in touch.
