Our team is made up of people who have done hands-on product development and infrastructure operations. We take generative AI as a given, but the final call comes down to human judgment as we work through the design. It's a role where you move across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, staying involved from design all the way to running it in production. We're primarily hiring full-time, and we also welcome inquiries about contract work.
What you'll do
Product and client development
From design through implementation and into production, for both our own products and client projects. You'll work hands-on across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
Infrastructure build and operations
Centered on AWS / GCP / Terraform, covering CI/CD, monitoring, and cost optimization. We favor newer technologies and select tools such as Neon / Supabase / Vercel / AWS Amplify to fit each project.
Building our engineering foundations
You'll help shape the company's technical standards (the principles that guide our design, coding, and operations) and contribute to building up in-house skills for bringing generative AI into our work.

- You design with operations in mind
- Someone who isn't satisfied with "it works" and instead chooses designs that can be handed over, that don't fall over, and that are easy to fix.
- You enjoy drawing out requirements through dialogue
- Someone curious about both technology and the business, who wants to understand a client's challenge starting from "why are we building this?"
- You learn and act on your own
- Someone in their element gathering information, reading technical books and documentation, and trying things out in code.
- You share good and bad news at the same temperature
- Someone who shares both progress and problems without bottling them up — who can say "I'm a bit stuck" early.
Job details

- Full-time (contract and side work also negotiable)

- No fixed term (for full-time employment)

- 3 months (no difference in working conditions during probation)

- Fully remote (work from home).
Scope of change: locations designated by the company (working from home as the standard). - Scope of work
- Product development, infrastructure build, and operations (scope of change: general engineering work as designated by the company).
- Working hours
- Flextime system (standard working hours: 8 hours per day).
Core hours 10:00–16:00. - Breaks and holidays
- 60-minute break. Full two-day weekends (Sat/Sun), public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and annual paid leave.
- Overtime
- None in principle (each person adjusts their own hours under the flextime system; no fixed overtime pay).
- Salary
- Full-time: annual salary of ¥5,000,000–9,000,000 (determined based on experience and skills). Contract terms negotiated separately.
- Allowances, raises, and bonuses
- Raises and bonuses are determined individually based on performance. Commuting expenses reimbursed at actual cost when coming into the office. A work Macbook and Claude license are provided by the company.
- Insurance
- Health insurance, employees' pension, employment insurance, and workers' accident compensation insurance (full social insurance coverage).
- Passive smoking measures
- No passive smoking at the workplace, as work is done from home (because work is remote).
