Kitei Log Now Supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) ─ Reference Policy Text Directly from AI Clients

SHANNON (“the Company”) announces that its own product, “Kitei Log,” now supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP). From MCP-compatible AI clients such as Claude Desktop, users can now directly reference the text of internal policies, manuals, and labor-management agreements registered in Kitei Log.

Background

Internal policies and labor-management agreements are documents for which the latest version and authenticity matter, yet referencing them from an AI chat has generally relied on copy-and-paste or file attachments. MCP is an open standard for AI clients to securely access external data. By having Kitei Log respond as an MCP server, AI can read the latest version of a policy directly.

Key Use Cases

  • Natural-language queries such as “Tell me the provision on the telework allowance in the work rules”
  • Referencing diffs and related provisions during a policy revision, all within the AI chat
  • Assisting with responses to employee inquiries and with generating documents based on policies
  • Cross-referencing policies against statutes in legal and labor workflows such as Claude for Legal

Security and Auditing

Kitei Log’s account permissions and audit logs apply as-is to access via MCP. A record of who referenced which policy is kept as before, so you can incorporate AI into your operations while maintaining consistency with ISMS / PrivacyMark audit practices.
