Kitei Log's MCP Connection Now Supports Cross-Tenant Access ─ Review Client Policies Across Multiple Advisory Engagements in a Single AI Chat

SHANNON (“the Company”) announces that the Model Context Protocol (MCP) connection for “Kitei Log” now supports cross-tenant reference across multiple tenants (multiple client accounts). From a single Kitei Log account, a user can belong to multiple client organizations and, from an MCP-compatible AI client such as claude.ai, simultaneously read and cross-check the policies of multiple clients. In tandem, we have launched a dedicated page for certified social insurance labor consultants, HR consultants, and legal staff: “Kitei Log for Sharoushi.”

Background

The MCP support for Kitei Log announced on May 13, 2026, provided a configuration in which policies under a single account (a single tenant) could be referenced by AI. Meanwhile, professionals such as certified social insurance labor consultants, attorneys, and labor consultants told us they wanted to “view the policies of 10 to 30 client companies across the board using AI” and to “see, at a glance, which clients have already addressed a legal amendment and which have not.” In response, we added a configuration in which a single Kitei Log account can belong to multiple client tenants and connect all of them together within a single MCP session.

Key Use Cases

  • Cross-tenant compliance checks: Combined with the e-Gov-linked AI legal review, an instruction such as “List the clients that have addressed the amendment to the Child Care and Family Care Leave Act, and those that have not yet done so” is answered by the AI after reading the policy text across multiple tenants.
  • Comparing policies across clients: Cross-extract how telework allowances, commuting allowances, Article 36 agreement overtime caps, and the like differ from one client to the next.
  • Drafting revision proposals: For clients that need to address a legal change, have the AI present the diff between the current provisions and a proposed revision, and produce a client-specific revision memo.
  • Support for audits and labor due diligence: During M&A or ISMS audits, verify the completeness and currency of the policies of a group of target companies all at once.
  • Cross-review with Claude for Legal: Add the Kitei Log connector to Anthropic’s Claude for Legal for legal work, and cross-reference statutory text, case law, and contract drafts against policy text within the same session. This enables a workflow in which the AI legal review results on the Kitei Log side and the findings on the Claude for Legal side are checked against each other.

How to Connect

Simply add the “Kitei Log” connector from Settings → Connectors in claude.ai, and configure the MCP endpoint URL issued on the Kitei Log side. Among the multiple clients to which they belong, the user can choose each time which tenants to make readable within a given session.

Permissions and Access Control

Cross-tenant connection operates only within the scope of the viewing permissions granted to the professional for each client. The tenants that can be included in an MCP session are limited to accounts the user has access rights to, and cross-tenant access is always verified on the Kitei Log side. As before, a record of who referenced which policy of which client via AI is kept in the per-tenant audit log.

Pricing

A professional’s own Kitei Log account is available free of charge (billing follows a per-client-tenant model). Clients can start on the Free plan (5 policies, 3 AI legal reviews per month) and expand to the Standard plan or higher as their scale requires.
